What makes a great craft beer distributor? That’s a question that craft brewers face every day. As they pour their heart and soul into each and every bottle, can, and glass for us all to enjoy, the last thing they need to worry about is if they are with the right craft distribution network. That’s where Patriot Craft Alliance comes in.
Patriot Craft Alliance – sponsor of the 2013 Beer Bloggers Conference – is a network of five family owned distributors with the common goal of providing the best route of access for their brewing partners, while also providing the highest quality and most innovative products in the market.
Patriot Craft Alliance is striving to become the most craft educated network in Massachusetts. All of their individual craft managers and hand selling specialists are a minimum of Cicerone Server Certified, and most are also MBAA Beer Stewards. More than one third of all their network’s sales professionals are Cicerone Server Certified, with a goal for their entire sales network by early 2014. Patriot Craft Alliance actively participates in many festivals and events like ACBF, SAVOR, GABF, and are members of the BA. They have more than a dozen home brewers on staff, and they love going out and visiting local, regional, and national craft breweries to further educate themselves in craft knowledge.
Patriot Craft Alliance is in the business for all the right reasons. Even at the end of a hard day’s work, they’re still meeting with friends to enjoy beer – a beverage that they love. Their business, while it may have its day-to-day pressures, is all about introducing the world to the amazing brands and styles brewers brew and that they represent. And that’s why they’ve aligned themselves with the BBC this year and are hosting beer bloggers in Portland on Thursday night. Distributors and bloggers have a kinship over sharing the love of beer with everyday consumers!
Patriot Craft Alliance invites this year’s BBC attendees to keep in touch with them. You can follow them on Twitter at @PatriotCraftAlli, find them on facebook, or email Bill Lenahan at bill.lenahan@
