The Marriott Mission Valley – our recently renovated, host hotel – is offering our attendees an excellent rate of $119 per night on Aug 22 & 23. Make your hotel reservation online or call the Marriott’s conference reservation line at 877.622.3056

There are a limited number of rooms at the above negotiated price for Wednesday Aug 20, Thursday, Aug 21 & Sunday, Aug 24.

If you have not yet registered for the conference, early bird registration is available through March 31. Prices go up on April 1. Visit our website for special conference rates for Citizen Bloggers, Industry Bloggers and General Registrants.

Hiring Digital Marketing Manager for Zephyr United (Our Tour Division)

Taste Vacations (or, more specifically, our overarching travel company, Zephyr United Travel Collection, which is our sister company) is hiring a new office employee to conduct the marketing for all three of our travel brands.

As you probably know, Zephyr United is a small company. We currently have 4.5 full-time employees (including Allan), and one of those positions is left vacant by our Marketing Lead to pursue a new career path.

We are specifically looking for an individual with marketing experience, preferably in the travel industry. The individual also needs to have an outgoing, caring, fun personality, as all our office staff also guide tours. The pay is not going to make you rich, but the lifestyle benefits are superb. Plus, you can work where you live as we gave up our brick-and-mortar office long ago (way before the pandemic).

      Nicole, We just had a handful of nights under our room block added for Wednesday and Thursday, so if you book soon, you should be able to reserve all nights at $119. There are plenty of rooms available on Friday and Saturday night at the negotiated rate – just not on Wed and Thur. Hope this helps!

      Hi Kendall! We’re waiting for the official word from the hotel, but yes. We just went in and tried to make a reservation at the conference rate for Thursday, and it worked.
