The 2015 North American Beer Bloggers & Writers Conference begins today in Asheville, North Carolina! We are a) honored to be in our 6th year with the annual forum of all things beer + words and b) thrilled to be in Asheville for this year’s conference. The North Carolina welcome has been fantastic thus far: the pre-conference excursion with visitRaleigh was awesome and filled with passionate people who are totally involved in and committed to their local beer industry. The BBQ is fantastic in this State! North Carolina, we are pretty sweet on you, already.
Registration begins today at 11 am in the Foyer. You can also drop off your beers to share for the Night of Many Beers when you register. Julia Herz opens this afternoon’s conference at 1 pm (please be there by 12:50) and then we dive into the Past, Present, and Future of Asheville Beer with a very knowledgable panel at 1:30 pm. We depart from the hotel promptly at 2:45 pm this afternoon for a tasting and tour of Oskar Blues Brewery followed by dinner at Sierra Nevada’s new brewery in Mills River – all transportation provided for this afternoon. The Beer Social Expo begins in the Ballroom at 8:30 pm – don’t miss out on visiting with all of this year’s conference partners who will be pouring their beers and talking shop all under one roof. Last but certainly not least on today’s Agenda: the Night of Many Beers, the homegrown event that sprouted spontaneously at a previous conference and whose tradition continues tonight at 10:30 in the Ballroom.
We look forward to seeing everyone in Asheville this afternoon at the Opening Day of the 2015 North American Beer Bloggers & Writers Conference in Asheville!
