This year’s post-conference excursion with the Asheville Brewers Alliance takes participants on an in-depth walking tour through what is quickly becoming Asheville’s “brewing district”: the South Slope. By July, 2015, there will be nine breweries in operation in the South Slope and we are going to get know the principals, and their beers, of this part of Asheville’s brewing prowess.
The Asheville Brewers Alliance has partnered with two great beer tour companies in the area, Asheville Brews Cruise and Asheville Brewery Tours, to provide transportation from the Four Points Asheville hotel to the South Slope and back. Wear comfortable walking shoes – we will walk up to 2 miles (at a leisurely, beer-oriented pace…) during our visit to this hub of Asheville beer activity. We will return to the Four Points Asheville by 5 pm on Sunday.
Beers + lunch + transportation to and from the South Slope all for only $15/pp. Extend your Asheville experience with this awesome post-conference excursion that aims to showcase the spirit of collaboration, transparency, and good-natured push to continually raise the bar in making high quality, Asheville beer.
