This years Beer Bloggers & Writers Conference is packed with beer events each day. From lunches to after-parties, conference registration includes access to all of the below events except the post-conference excursion, which requires a separate registration. Lunch With Pabst Brewing Co.

Conference attendees will walk one-block to the new Pabst Brewing Co. Brewery for lunch and small group tours of the facility.

The Beer Expo is your opportunity to taste beers and meet representatives from all our sponsors. This will take place at the Hilton Hotel, our recommended hotel.
Dinner at MillerCoors

Transportation will be provided from the Beer Expo at the Hilton Hotel to MillerCoors for dinner. Details coming soon.
The Art of Spontaneous Fermentation

Brewery Tour and Tailgate Lunch with Milwaukee Brewing Co.

The Milwaukee Brewing Company team invites you to get in the spirit of America’s favorite pastime, and come down for a Brewers Tailgate Party at the new brewery development in Building 42. All tailgating essentials will be provided including a classic, Milwaukee-style brat bar and fixin’s, eating equipment and Milwaukee Brewing Company’s finest beverages.
Live Beer Blogging

Live Beer Blogging has been one of the most successful and fun events at the Beer Bloggers & Writers Conference since our first year. You will have the opportunity to try 10 beers in 50 minutes. In each round, a brewery representative will have five minutes to pour his or her beer, describe the beer, and answer questions before moving on to the next table. It is a fast, fun, and crazy beer tasting experience that helps writers practice their tasting and reviewing skills and helps breweries distill their message.
Reception at Lakefront Brewery
Saturday, August 5
We will have a pre-dinner reception at Lakefront Brewing, founded in 1987 and one of the leaders of the Milwaukee craft brewing industry. Details coming soon.
Dinner at Good City Brewing
Saturday, August 5
Attendees are invited into the house of Good City Brewing for a 12-beer-pairing buffet style dinner. Good City’s Brewery Chef will select 12 dishes to be served alongside 12 tapped brews. Get your fill before the owners of Good City Breweries take attendees on a private tour of the production space. Read more about Good City and plans for this dinner event here.
Evening Party at Brenner Brewing
Saturday, August 5
After dinner we will head to Brenner Brewing for an evening party. Brenner Brewing is known for using a local artist to design each of its beer labels and pairing each beer with a soundtrack from a local band.
Post-Conference Excursion to Grand Rapids
Sunday and Monday, August 6-7
Experience Grand Rapids has worked very hard to put together a substantial tour of their up-and-coming beer scene that many BBC attendees may have not had the chance to experience. The excursion includes a boat trip, multiple brewery tours, a fantastic hotel deal (not included in excursion price) and a lot of fun!
The post-conference excursion is $25 (Citizen Blogger) or $50 (industry). This cost covers your ferry to Grand Rapids, meals, tours, and tastings however please read through the excursion details page to review the itinerary and any additional costs.
