After just recently posting about our Leeds Pub Crawl at the European Beer Bloggers Conference, we are pleased to announce the details of our Chicago Brewpub Crawl. This is part of the pre-conference excursion for the Indianapolis conference, which includes visits to Goose Island and the Lafayette Brewing Company. Please see that post for details.
The Chicago crawl is organized by local bloggers Jessica Murphy from Girls Like Beer Too and Kristin Stroud from beer + running = happiness. They organized the details and will lead the crawl.
At 8:00 at the conclusion of dinner at the Goose Island Clybourn Brewpub, the brewpub crawl will start with visits to Piece Brewing, Revolution Brewing, and Haymarket Brewing, three of Chicago’s hippest breweries. The crawl will finish at the Howard Johnson downtown hotel, which is the hotel we are recommending for out-of-towners.
Best of all, Jess and Kristin looked at the transportation and decided we would either be spending big bucks for cabs or spending all night riding buses, so they made the executive decision to book the ChiTown Party Bus. The $400 fee will be split among the 40 pub crawl participants, so have $10 plus beer money in your pocket.
