Peter Bouckaert | Purpose Brewing and Cellars
Peter Bouckaert, co-author of Wood & Beer (Brewers Publications, 2016) relocated to the U.S. in 1996 to become New Belgium Brewing Company’s brewmaster in Ft. Collins, Colo. Bouckaert had previouslyl brewed for a decade at Brewery Rodenbach. When Peter joined New Belgium, the company’s portfolio included five Belgian-inspired beers. He was an early advocate of brewing hoppier beers outside the Belgian tradition, exploring IPAs, Czech-style lagers, fruits, spices, wood-aging and fermentation, and experimenting with yeast and microbe strains from around the world. Peter earned the equivalent of a Master’s degree in brewing and fermentation technology from the University of Ghent, Belgium, as well as a Quality Engineer degree from CKZ Kortrijk. He was honored to be awarded the 2013 Russell Schehrer Award for Innovation in Brewing by the Brewers Association.As of summer 2017, Peter has begun a transition to open Purpose Brewing and Cellars in Fort Collins.
Pete Brown | Pete Brown
Pete Brown is a British author, journalist, broadcaster and consultant specialising in food and drink, especially the fun parts like beer, pubs, cider, bacon rolls and fish and chips. Across nine books, his broad, fresh approach takes in social history, cultural commentary, travel writing, personal discovery and natural history, and his words are always delivered with the warmth and wit you’d expect from a great night down the pub. He writes for newspapers and magazines around the world and is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4’s Food Programme. He was named British Beer Writer of the Year in 2009, 2012 and 2016, has won three Fortnum & Mason Food and Drink Awards, and has been shortlisted twice for the Andre Simon Awards. Pete is Chair of the British Guild of Beer Writers. He lives in London with his wife Liz, and dog Mildred.

Scott Fish | 32° digital
Scott works with wineries, AVAs and supporting businesses to refine their customer’s experience and drive sales. Chief Growth Officer at 32° digital, he is responsible for developing new strategies for prospective and existing clients. During the past two decades, he has worked with growing companies around the world in evolving industries such as tourism, wineries, hotels, tourism associations and cultural organizations. History is important to him, and as a Cabinet board member of the Oregon Historical Society, Scott is actively working to connect new generations to the history and culture of the Northwest.

Kaitlyn is the Marketing Manager for Holidaily Brewing Company. Creating meaningful partnerships with bloggers and media is one of her favorite aspects of marketing. Recently, Kaitlyn hosted a virtual tasting event with 15 of Holidaily’s closest media contacts and has

Kenny Gould is the founder of Hop Culture and Bean Culture Magazines, and the author of The Brewing Cloud: A Book of Short Stories. In the past, he has written for Men’s Health, Bon Appetit, and Thrillist, and is currently a contributor at Forbes. Follow him on Instagram at @hopcultureken.
Karen Hertz | Holidaily Brewing Company
Karen is the Chief Brewista and Founder of Holidaily Brewing Company, the largest dedicated gluten-free brewery in the U.S. She survived melanoma and thyroid cancer in her early 30’s, leading to a treatment plan including a gluten-free diet. As a beer lover, this meant she couldn’t partake in social activities in the same way her friends and family could. The lack of great-tastin and safe gluten-free options was a challenge for Karen – one that she was driven to overcome. Years of research led her to believe there was a better way. Thus, the idea of Holidaily Brewing Company was born: a company dedicated to brewing excellent-tasting gluten-free beer that everyone can enjoy.
Julia Herz | HerzMuses Enterprises
Julia is a speaker, writer, author, and trade association professional. Most recently she was the Craft Beer Program Director for the Boulder, Colorado based Brewers Association (BA) and Publisher of CraftBeer.com (2007-2020). She is a BJCP Certified beer judge, an award-winning homebrewer, a Certified Cicerone® and beer educator. She is now a strategic consult via her new company HerzMuses Enterprises. Jason Logsdon is a best selling author, public speaker and passionate home cook who loves to try new things, exploring everything from sous vide and whipping siphons to blow torches, foams, spheres and infusions. He has published 14 cookbooks which have sold more than 60,000 copies, including the best selling Modernist Cooking Made Easy: Sous Vide and the Official Instant Pot Sous Vide Cookbook. Friedrich Moser | blue + green communication
Based in Vienna, Austria, Friedrich holds a university degree (MA) in History and German Studies from the University of Salzburg, Austria. From 1998-2000 he worked as TV journalist in Bolzano/Bozen, Italy. In 2001 he founded his own production company, blue+green communication, to make documentaries first for the regional, since 2008 for the international market. Friedrich has been writing, directing, shooting and producing over 20 documentaries. His films have been broadcast throughout Europe and been shown on platforms like Netflix, iTunes and Amazon Prime. The idea for BEER – A Love Story was conceived in 2017 during the Documentary Film Fest in Sheffield, UK, when he met up with his friend and fellow filmmaker Maarten Schmidt from Brussels, Belgium, to taste what was on tap at The Rutland Arms pub. Randy Mosher | Randy Mosher
Randy Mosher has been writing about beer and brewing since 1989 and is the author of three beer and brewing books: The Brewers Companion (Alephenalia Publications, 1991), Radical Brewing (Brewers Publications, 2004) and Tasting Beer (Storey Publications, 2009), which covers the sensory and stylistic aspects of beer. Mosher is a member of the faculty of the Siebel Institute, America’s oldest brewing school. He has written for nearly all of the beer-related magazines and speaks to beer enthusiast and brewing audiences around the world. Mosher is also a graphic designer, specializing in the branding and packaging business for American and international craft breweries, which gives him a unique insider’s view of the industry.
