Badger Ales is back at European Beer Bloggers Conference for its third year, bringing along some familiar names and an exclusive new beer for you to sample!
Based in the heart of the Dorset countryside, Badger beers have been brewed by Hall & Woodhouse since 1777. Owned and managed by fifth generation of the Woodhouse family, the Blandford brewers have recently opened a new brewery, their first in 100 years and just across the yard from the old one!
Far from being stuck in the past, their vision for the future is to help grow the ale market with innovative cask ales and their award winning bottled beers. And it looks like they’ve done a bit of homework to help them down this path; on the Hall & Woodhouse website you can view the “2013 Hall & Woodhouse Premium Ale Insight Report“. The report is an in-depth and interesting look in to the Premium Ale category in the UK. If you’re a data-head type beer blogger, you’ll enjoy perusing through the report for some interesting stats and nice visuals (for use in a future blog post, perhaps?).
Badger Ales is a sponsor and participant in this year’s European Beer Bloggers Conference. Attendees will get a chance to sample Badger Ales (and some other treats the team have brought along!) during the opening expo portion of the Beer Bloggers conference on Friday, 12 July and again during Live Beer Blogging on Saturday, 13 July. You can keep up-to-date with the latest from Badger on Twitter: @BadgerAles.
