Part of what we love about bringing the Beer Bloggers Conference to a new location each year is an opportunity to share that local brewculture with bloggers from all over the country. This summer will provide ample opportunity to sample local Indiana beers with a Thursday evening brew-tour (details TBA), Saturday afternoon stop at the Indiana Microbrewer’s Festival, and live beer blogging that will include a handful of local breweries (such as Flat 12, Three Floyds, Triton, Barley Island).
In addition to these great introductions to Indiana beers, Sun King Brewery has invited bloggers to join them for tours and lunch on Sunday, July 15th after we wrap up the conference. Sun King is opening on a Sunday starting at 12:30pm just for BBC attendees. Lunch will be provided by Goose the Market, and tours will start at 1:15pm. Eric Fear at Sun King has this to pass along to BBC attendees:
We would like to give you the opportunity to meet some of the faces behind Sun King and see a side of our brewery that the general public doesn’t have access to. In addition to the tours we’ll be tasting through our lineup of beer and providing a complimentary lunch. We hope you’ll stop by on your way to the airport!
Thanks to Sun King for sharing another taste of Indiana beers with all of BBC attendees!
