It just wouldn’t be a keynote from Dogfish Head founder and CEO Sam Calagione if there wasn’t some sort of off-centered twist … are we right?! And that’s precisely what you can expect on Friday, Aug. 10! Known to zag when everyone else is zigging, Sam’s got a little something up his sleeve for this year’s Beer Bloggers and Writers Conference.
To kick things off, you’ll receive an exclusive sneak peek of an all-new Dogfish project. We can’t quite tell you what it is just yet, but know this is a project that’s a tad ‘odd’ and most certainly off-centered.
We’ll then roll into a very special edition of #AskDogfish. In case you’re not familiar, #AskDogfish is a monthly live video where Sam takes questions from fans and dishes on all-things Dogfish – everything from upcoming beer releases to current trends in craft beer, and even what’s next on his ever-evolving bucket list. Typically only available through Dogfish social channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube, we’re inviting each and every one of you to broadcast this edition of #AskDogfish through your channels … making it the biggest #AskDogfish EVER!
So how exactly does this work?
For starters, we’re asking that you share with your followers (some time between now and the conference) that you will be going LIVE with Dogfish Head founder and CEO Sam Calagione on Friday, Aug. 10 at 1:40 p.m.! In order to make this the largest #AskDogfish ever, we’d love for folks to have plenty of notice so they can mark their calendars. It will also give you an opportunity to collect questions from your followers, because…
Not only will he be taking live questions from the audience that day, you’ll also have an opportunity to submit your questions in advance! If your question is selected, Sam will be giving your blog and / or social handle, along with the person who submitted the question a shout out during the live session!
Simply send an email to janelle@dogfish.com with your question(s) now through Aug. 6. While we can’t guarantee he’ll have the time to tackle them all, we’ll do our best to ask as many as we can.
So bring the heat and get ready for the biggest #AskDogfish EVER!
