Earlier this week, we announced on Twitter that the latest update on our Complete List of Beer Blogs brought us to the one thousand mark of US and Canadian-based beer blogs. Immediately after posting, we received another rush of emails of bloggers asking to be added to the list, which just goes to show how this online community of beer-enthusiasts is continuing to grow at an unprecedented rate.
These blogs range from homebrewers and commercial brewers, seasoned journalists with a specific passion for beer, education-based information for those looking to learn more and newbies who have just discovered the wide world of beer. We welcome each and every one of them to the Complete List and appreciate the wide array of opinions and tastes they share!
Our Foreign blog list is nearing the 500 mark, and we know there are likely hundreds of blogs from around the world that we do not yet know of. At EBBC in Leeds earlier this month, we welcomed bloggers from Bulgaria, Sweden, Holland, Italy, Germany and Poland, and each of them helped us locate and add additional blogs from their communities.
The craft beer industry is growing at an exponential clip, and with it, obviously so is the love of beer by consumers and connoisseurs alike. The list is constantly transforming, with new blogs opening and old blogs closing down, but overall the growth of this community is clearly a reflection of the booming beer industry, not just in the States, but all over the globe.
A big round of applause to you, beer bloggers, for spreading your passion for a good pint!
