Last year, J. Wilson of brewvana.net gave a keynote speech at the Beer Bloggers Conference in Portland about “standing out from the crowd” and finding new, creative ways to present your beer blog. J does a great job of this himself – from the newly published Diary of a Part-Time Monk about his Lenten fast on doppelbock, to integrating yoga and beer with Pints and Poses, to being named 2012’s Beer Drinker of the Year.
Over the past week, I have been individually reaching out to our long list of beer bloggers to invite them to join us in Indy next month for the conference. The Wine Bloggers Conference just sold out at 350 attendees last week, and while we’re on track to holding the biggest Beer Bloggers Conference yet, it is still not nearly as large as our spirituous compatriots. We can’t help but wonder; how great would it be to build the Beer Bloggers Conference to three times its current size?
In addition to chatting about the Beer Drinker of the Year award, we were originally going to chat about the conference as well. However, J recently learned that unavoidable circumstances will be keeping him away from Indy this July. Being this will be the first Beer Bloggers Conference ever he will miss, he wanted to share his “Top Ten Reasons Why It Sucks I Can’t Come To The Beer Bloggers Conference,” in hopes it will inspire you to join and enjoy the conference for him.
We insure many microbreweries and this conference look great. We will pass it onto to our clients here’s our microbrewery page http://www.mhbinsurance.com/business-insurance-peekskill-ny/industries-served/microbrewery-insurance/
