The world of beer blogging evolves. It’s a fluid industry, with shifts in demographics, habits, and motivations.
Factors like the growth in social media mean that a beer blogger needs to be engaging across multiple platforms to network and share their content and, above all else, a beer blogger needs to be adaptable.
Last night we heard some very interesting stats and data on the beer industry collected by the Brewers Association and presented by Julia Herz at the conference opening; this morning we’ll be hearing about stats and data collected about beer blogging specifically. We have always known that the world of beer blogging evolves, but until now we haven’t tracked these changes.
2013 marks the first year of the State of Beer Blogging Report. In the spring of this year, Zephyr Adventures released a survey out via social media and email and received 260 responses. We have compiled the data and are sharing it with you now.
