The world of beer blogging evolves. It’s a fluid industry, with shifts in demographics, habits, and motivations. Factors like the growth in social media mean that a beer blogger needs to be engaging across multiple platforms to network and share their content and, above all else, a beer blogger needs to be adaptable.
We have always known that the world of beer blogging evolves, but until now we haven’t tracked these changes.
2013 marks the first year of the State of Beer Blogging Report. In the spring of this year, we released a survey out via social media and email and received 260 responses.
We will be presenting and discussing the report today at 4pm during the European Beer Bloggers Conference in Edinburgh. (Don’t worry #BBC13 – we’ll be discussing this too in a few weeks.) You can follow along during the presentation, read the report for your self, and share by visiting the 2013 State of Beer Blogging Report.
For info in regards to something that I heard in the Beer Bloggers around the globe discussion. I have a Google translate gadget on my Blogger page which could be really useful for people – to use also?
