A Note from BBC15 Partner, Sierra Nevada. We look forward to dinner, a tour, and tasting with them on Friday, July 17!
It’s been a big year for us at Sierra Nevada. After years of dreaming and planning and building, we’ve finally opened the doors to our new brewery in Mills River.
We took our time with this new chapter. We installed a monster 20-tap draught system, a pilot brewery for research and development, and a Taproom and Restaurant with a menu inspired by the Southeast. (If the hotel food ain’t cutting it, you can always stop in for a fried chicken donut sandwich.) And, of course, we spent a whole lot of time making sure the beer from Mills River tastes exactly—and we mean exactly—like the beer we brew in Chico.
From the fermenters to our environmental impact, from the copper eaves to the light fixtures in the hallway, everything was considered. Our new brewery is a celebration of what we love about craft beer.
The blogging community is not unlike the brewing community. You’re a discerning group—a group who can taste the difference and appreciate the subtleties, and a group that isn’t afraid to speak its mind. You push us to be better. That’s why we’re so excited to share our new brewery with you as we host a visit for this year’s Beer Bloggers & Writers Conference.
That’s also why we chose your visit for an exclusive look at a new beer, one we’ve been working on for quite a while. We’ll premier the beer and all its details when you roll up—you’ll be the first to taste it.
Looking forward to seeing all of you at our new Mills River brewery at BBC15. We hope you love it as much as we do.
